Willy Wong's Wongyverse

Who is Willy Wong?

Note: Like all true histories, the following may be changed at the whim of its creators.

THE MYTHOLOGY:

Willy Wong started life as a small, confused child on a planet called Balonie. Then, when he was a little older a race of MUTANT WARRIOR CATS invaded his home planet, killing everyone, including his entire family. Somehow, Willy Wong escaped and ended up on Planet Earth.

Wong passed himself off as a Hispanic Chinese-American and somehow gained citizenship in the United States of America. He wandered about Wisconsin in his Flaming Winnebago of Death for many years, wondering what to do with his life.

Then, he started his first business: Willy Wong's Disco Farm. It was moderately successful and he learned how to swindle people out of large amounts of money. He opened up several other businesses, each only lasting a small amount of time, but producing large returns for Willy.

All seemed fine for our Balonian con-artist, until the day he saw his first domestic cat. His past and his simple mind clashed and his hatred for anything feline took over. Fueled by the memories of the destruction of his family, he set out to destroy all cats.

After some time, however, Willy Wong realized the possible profit potential that cats offered and began to start selling such items as Willy Wong's Land Mindetectors - AKA CATS! He also captured two talking cat creatures (suspected to be outcasts of the Mutant Warrior Cats) to do his bidding and torture.

THE REAL WORLD STUFF:

The Character Willy Wong was created by Ron Wahl and Rob Sturtevant. Rob lost interest in the character and turned it completely over to Ron. Charles Daniels, a friend of theirs, later purchased the character and the Willy Wong Universe from Ron for a Carl's Jr. Famous Star and a penny.

Willy Wong’s primary aspirations were to become wealthy (which he already magically is) and to dominate the world. Luckily, Willy Wong is too simple-minded to really pull off the latter. In the Charles Daniels incarnation of Willy Wong, his aspirations rose to include the acquisition and consumption of large amounts of cheese.
